GenArt: How I Built an AI Platform at 17 to Redefine Creativity

At 17, I set out to create GenArt, an AI-powered platform that transforms words into high-quality images in seconds. In this post, I share how the idea was born, the process of building it, and why it stands apart from tools like DALL·E and MidJourney. I also reveal what’s next — including our upcoming AI project, Verse, designed to push research and reasoning beyond today’s limits.

What is Genart:

GenArt is an online tool that lets anyone create unique, high-quality images just by describing them in words. You simply type what you want to see — a scene, an object, or even an abstract idea and within seconds, GenArt turns your words into a realistic or artistic image. There’s no need for design skills or special software. Right now, GenArt is completely free to use, making it easy for anyone to try and explore. Soon, we’ll be introducing subscription plans that give you even more features, faster results, and greater creative control. Whether you’re a business owner looking for product visuals, a content creator in need of stunning graphics, or just someone exploring your imagination, GenArt makes turning ideas into images fast, fun, and accessible to everyone.

I’m Daksh Suthar, and GenArt started with a frustration I couldn’t ignore.

I had seen how powerful AI image generation could be with tools like MidJourney and DALL·E, but I also saw the downsides — they were often slow, too technical for beginners, and locked most features behind expensive subscriptions.

I asked myself: Why can’t there be a platform that’s fast, simple, and open to everyone?

That question became my mission. I wanted to build something that could turn anyone’s ideas into high-quality images in seconds — without needing design skills or complicated commands. Just plain words and instant results.

I started with the concept: “AI that transforms imagination into images instantly.” From there, I focused on speed, user-friendliness, and a design that feels modern and dynamic. I didn’t just want another AI tool; I wanted an experience people would love to use every day.

Today, GenArt is live and completely free to try. Soon, I’ll be launching subscription plans that unlock even more power for creators, businesses, and curious minds. But my mission stays the same — to make creativity with AI as fast, fun, and accessible as it should be.

How I Founded GenArt:

Why GenArt Stands Out from the Rest:

While tools like DALL·E and MidJourney are popular, they often come with steep learning curves, slower results, or limited access without high costs. GenArt is designed to solve these problems and make AI image generation easier, faster, and more accessible for everyone.

Here’s how we’re different:

  1. Simplicity First – No complex commands or prompt engineering required. Just describe what you want in plain language, and GenArt understands.

  2. Speed – Images are generated in seconds, so you can move from idea to final image without waiting minutes.

  3. Free Access (for now) – Anyone can try GenArt at no cost, with subscription plans coming soon for even more features.

  4. Professional & Beginner-Friendly – Whether you’re a business owner, a designer, or just curious, GenArt gives professional-quality results without needing design skills.

  5. Dynamic, Modern Experience – Our platform is built to feel futuristic and visually immersive, not just functional.

  6. Soon to Have Our Own AI Model – Unlike platforms that rely solely on pre-existing models, we’re working toward building our own, giving users unique image styles and features unavailable anywhere else.

Where I See GenArt in 5 Years:

As I look ahead, I see GenArt becoming far more than just an AI image generator. In five years, I believe GenArt will be a complete creative ecosystem — a place where ideas move from thought to finished content in seconds, powered entirely by our own proprietary AI models.

I imagine a platform that:

  • Understands context, style, and emotion so well that you don’t just get an image, you get the image you had in mind.

  • Works across all mediums — not just still images, but animations, 3D models, videos, and interactive content.

  • Is trusted by global brands, creators, and everyday users as their go-to creative partner.

  • Offers personalized AI assistants that remember your preferences and help you create faster every time you use them.

  • Runs on cutting-edge technology we’ve built ourselves, giving GenArt a unique signature style and capabilities no one else can match.

Alongside GenArt, we’ll soon launch Verse — a next-generation text-to-text AI platform. Think of it like ChatGPT, but smarter at research, stronger in reasoning, and better at delivering deep, accurate, and context-aware answers. Verse will be the thinking engine, and GenArt will be the creative engine — together forming a powerhouse for creators, professionals, and businesses.

By then, I see GenArt not just as a tool, but as a worldwide creative movement — making it possible for anyone, anywhere, to bring their imagination to life without limits.
